Dark Truth Read online

  The families discussion on things was taking longer than I expected. Finally I had to pull him away from it and take him upstairs for bed, plus with the three hours I had to think while they were all talking, their was a private discussion that I wanted to have with him.

  “Mica will it help if I agreed to let you change me?” I asked when we were laying in the bed curled up to each other.

  “My honest opinion, I think it could be helpful, but I don’t want Lavon to have to be the reason for your desicion.”

  “I promise that he’s not the real reason for my desicion. I decided that if I want you forever and I really do love you then, what am I waiting for. Mica I want to be able to show my love to you in every way possible. As long as I have you that is all that matter’s to me. I’ll deal with the rest when the time comes. I want to do this for us!”

  He pulled me up to where we were sitting up in the bed facing each other. He starred into my eye’s, holding my face in both of his hands on either side of my face, while I stared back into his, wondering what is going through his head right now. What could he be thinking about to make him smile the way that he is right now?

  “Do you know how much I love you right now?” He asked still smiling at me and starring into my eye’s.

  “Tell me!” I whispered back to him.

  Instead of speaking he just gently laid me back on the bed and pressed his perfect lips to mine, kissing me feverently with nothing but desire and pure love in his eye’s. I could see in that instant how much he really truely loved me. Just by looking into those eye’s of his.

  “I love you more than my whole life Raven.” He whispered in my ear, as he moved to lay down beside me. “We will need to plan your change. I will speak to the other’s and set things up with them.” His voice sounded with nothing but pure love and excitement plus more happieness than I thought possible.

  “Okay.” I said back to him. Then kissed him goodnight. As I was trying to get to sleep, I wandered what I would be like after I was turned. Would I have a gift as some of my family does. It really don’t matter as long as I am with Mica. I’ll eventually have to deal with my mom and Lila, but I don’t think that it will be any time soon. But I think I will get through it just fine. I hope.

  Finally I drifted to sleep smiling and dreaming of my new life, that I will soon have. My dream started out wonderful. Mica and I were showing our love to each other day in and day out. Then the next thing that I know, once again, my dream turned dark!

  I seen myself with the beautiful silver eye’s that the rest of my family has, then at once they turned black with a hint of red. That’s when I seen Lavon and his four friends standing beside me, and I was willing standing my ground beside them. I seen Mica’s face, the horror and pain on it was unbarable, but I couldn’t care about that. Mica and his family stood there crouched and ready to attack me and the one’s that I stood beside, with they’re teeth bared. I was willing to attack them to rip them to shreds. Lavon turned and kissed me then we both looked at our enemies and sprang for the attack that would kill them all.

  I woke up breathless and covered in sweat, gasping. I looked over for Mica but he wasn’t there beside me as he should have been. I figured that he was downstairs with the others. I looked over at the clock, it was only five in the morning. I decided that I might as well get up, It’s not worth going back to sleep and seeing what I seen in my dream.

  After I got dressed, I went downstairs. Mica had not came back up yet.

  “Hey Rave. Your up early.” Liza said when I came down the stairs.

  “Couldn’t sleep.” I told her. “Where is Mica at?”

  “He went ahead and took your things to the condo and took your bodyguards there so that they will already be there when you get there. He didn’t think that you would be up this early.”

  “Okay. Where’s Angelic at? I want to ask her something.”

  “Her and Heaven is in the kitchen fixing breakfast.” She sounded a little uneasy for some reason telling me where she was.

  “Thanks.” I said to her and headed for the kitchen. I walked in and was shocked to see Angelic drinking something red.

  She put the clear cup down quickly. “Hey Raven!” She said sounding nervous. “I can explain.” When she said that suddenly I realized what was in the cup. It was blood. “Sometimes I have to drink this. It helps keep me on track. I should have told you before.” Her expression was apologetic.

  “I’m not judging you. It’s not my buisness what you do.” I was a little disturbed, but there was something I needed to talk to her about. “I actually need to talk to you about something.”

  She seemed relieved that I wasn’t mad. “Sure what’s up?”

  “Well I had a dream last night and it was very dark. It seemed so real. It disturbed me. This isn’t the first time that I’ve had these types of dark dreams. I even had them before I moved here, but now they are worse. And the one’s that I had in Maine pretty much came true, it wasn’t exactly the same, but it was close enough for me to realize that what happened was what I dreamed of.”

  She sighed. “I knew that I felt something comming from you, I just wasn’t sure what it was, but now I think I might know.”

  “What is it.?” I asked.Panick on my face.

  “Sit down and I will explain it to you.”

  I sat down next to her on the sofa.

  “Raven, I think that you are having some type of preminiton through your dreams. I can feel alot of strength and some type of current running through you. I really think that you have a great gift, but I believe that it is much more than ours. I have felt this from you since the first time that we met here in New York.”

  I was shocked. I could not think of One thing to say to that. I just sat there and stared at her dumb founded.

  Chapter Thirteen

  My Decision

  She asked me about the other dark dreams that I had and wanted to know which one’s were the one’s that came true. I had to start at the begining, to when I first watched the first Dark Love movie. I told her that it started with the feelings that I was having, the dejavue that I felt when I watched the movie, then I started having the fantacy’s and then the dreams started. I told her which one’s came true. Like the one about when they came to Maine for my birthday. It took me a while to tell her all the one’s that I could remember anyway’s. I think that she pretty much understood what I was telling her. At least I didn’t seem to be boring her. She seemed interested.

  “Have you told Mica about these dark dreams that you have been having?” She asked me after I was done explaining.

  “I’m sure he know’s about when it first started because he said he was sorda there in them, but I havn’t told him about any of the other’s.”

  “Well I think that you should tell him. Like I said I think these are more than dreams. Right now I can feel something like electric currents running through you, like a bright light shining from you. These feelings I get from someone usually mean that that person has a great power inside of them.”

  “But I am only human. So how could that be?” I asked trying to understand better what she was telling me.

  “I think that’s why we need to talk to Mica and mabe the other’s and see what they think about it.”

  “I think that’s a good idea, cause I’m still a little confused by all of this.” I agreed.

  When Mica got home, Angelic explained everything to him. He thought that the whole family should sit down and discuss it, and so we did, and also we discussed my new future with them.

  We didn’t get to the condo until late this evening. Our discussion was very long taking up practically the whole day. Everyone thinks that I may be having some type of preminitions. They are taking my dream that I had last night very seriously. They have no objection to me being turned. They have to plan it just in
case that something was to go wrong while my transformation was taking place.

  I fell asleep quickly last night and now it is morning. I went to bed pretty early. I just felt so exhausted. We both just got done eating breakfast that I fixed for us. Now were just sitting on the sectional sofa, watching tv. All in all a pretty good morning so far.

  “Mica?” I asked.

  “Yes, Rave.”

  “I was wondering, what with everything going on. Are we still going to the premier? I know that it is only a week away.”

  “Of course.” He said. “I dought that Lavon or any of the other’s want to out themselves that way. That would not be a bright idea. The true purebred vampires would be furious, and would not take kindly to being exposed.”

  “Well what about Krystal? Do you think that she will be a problem?” I asked.

  “I really dought it. We’ll be in public and she won’t want to make a scene with the press and the paparazzi around.”

  “I hope she doesn’t. I would just like to have a nice night out with you,without all of this drama!”

  “Me too!” He smiled and kissed me once quickly on my lips and I returned the smile, then I kissed him.

  The kiss was very passionate. It was hard to tear our selves away from each other, but eventually we did though. We just cuddled after that and continued to watch some more movies and sometimes we would get into some deep conversations about different things. We did this until eventually I fell asleep in his arms right there on the sofa. I fell asleep every night this way and he alway’s carried me to our room here and laid with me in the bed until I woke up. When I woke up somtimes he would even have breakfast fixed for me. We relaxed and talked and just had a good time to ourselves for the rest of the whole week that we were here. It’s good to have this time to ourselves. Don’t get me wrong I love spending time with the family also, but here it feels more private, no one can here us in anything we do or say.

  Finally tonight is the night for the premier of the Dark Love movie part three. I’m a little nervous, but more excited than nervous though. Me and Mica are at the families house tonight so that we can all go together to the premier.

  Me, Liza and Angelic just got done getting dressed. Angelic looks beautiful in her dress. It’s a black silk dress, an off the shoulder short length dress. Liza also looks fantastic. Her dress is a deep silver color that comes down just below her ankles, with wide shoulder straps and a long v-neck in the front. Then their is me in my black and silver ensamble, I have to admit I look very hot in this dress. Mica has not had the pleasure of seeing me in my dress yet. I can’t wait to see what he thinks.

  We walked down the stairs to meet everyone else down there. We were the last to finish getting dressed.

  “Raven. Heaven said. “You look beautiful, all three of you do, but this is the first time in a long time that I seen you dressed this way.”

  Mica agreed, as I went to stand by his side. “You look...., well their are not words for how good you look tonight.” He told me.

  “Thank you.” I said to both of them smiling. Mica stared into my eye’s. It seemed like he was having a hard time looking away until Angelic cleared her throat.

  “Right.” He said. “Raven their is something that I wanted to ask you while everyone is here.” Their was a excited nervousness in his voice, which made me a little nervous.

  I looked up to see everyone looking at the both of us and smiling widely. I looked at Mica and he was starring at me again. He started to stare into my eye’s once he had my attention.

  He took both of his hands and gently placed them on either side of my face and smiled. “Raven, I want to tell you that I love you more than anyone could ever love one person. You have made my life so much better since the day that we remet, you know from our past life. I want to be with you for the rest of eternity, Their is no one else that can have my heart. You are the only one that I will ever love and want, so I ask you in front of my entire family, “ he paused reaching inside of his black dress pants then pulling out a black satin square box, “ will you do the honors of being my wife?”

  I could feel the moisture building up in my eye’s, the tears of happieness filling my eye’s in this joyful moment that I was having. I was able to blink the tears away without them spilling over, but it took me a second before I could answer.

  I took a deep breath and I was finally able to speak. “Mica it would make me more happier than anything in this world, to be your wife, so yes.”

  He pulled my face to his so that he could press his lips to mine in a kiss that I felt could have burned down the house in that one second. I could here the other’s silent claps. Vincent let out a whistle

  Mica slid the ring on my finger, and kissed me once more, quickly on the lips. The ring was beautiful. It was white gold, their were small diamonds embedded in the band of the ring, and in the center of the ring was a big diamond that was bigger than average. I’d never seen a ring this beautiful in my life. Tonight is the most happiest of nights that I have ever had. I’m standing smack dead in the middle of a life that I thought that I could only dream of having, and here it is, very real and unbelieveable.

  I was embraced by my new official family now. They were all very happy that this was able to work out for the both of us so well. I adore this family, my new sister’s to be and my brothers to be and- I’m not going to say mother and father in law, because they are much more than that- My mother and father.

  “Raven.” Mica said after all the embraces we recieved. “Their is one more thing that I would like to ask you.”

  “Sure.” I said wondering what else he could possibly need to ask me.

  “Well, with you accepting my perposal to you...., I would like to have your permission, to change you tonight. After the premier, of course.”

  I didn’t know quite what to say. He caught me off guard with that question,. even though I knew that it was comming. The date of my death and my rebirth.

  Angelic interrupted before I even had a chance to think clearly. “It’s time to go, we can finish this discussion when we get back home tonight.” She said smiling at me. I’m sure she felt what I was feeling right now, in this moment. A little dazed.

  We went and got into the limo that was waiting for us outside. When we arrived at the premier, I could see thousands of fans and the press was there and I’m sure the paparazzi as well was there.

  I know what to expect this time. I have to smile and walk beside Mica. I know that he will most likely sign some autographs and take pictures with fans that have camera’s or camera phones. That’s the life of my fiance. I really like the way that sounds! Fiance!

  Mica and I were the last one’s to get out of the limo. When we were out the fans really started screaming. I could see the pleasure of it on Mica’s face, cause without the fans he would not have the life that he has now. The flashes of lights from the camera’s did not stop and, we were all photographed together before we went inside. Mica signed autographs along with the rest of the family. I walked beside him patiently for he never let go of my hand. He pulled me along with him and he held my hand with the one that was free. With his other was the one that he signed with. Then it was time to get inside.

  “I think that the fans like you.” Mica said to me as we walked through the doors to go inside.

  “How do you know?” I asked. Because in truth I know what fans can be thinking, especially if they are somewhat obsessed with their star of choice.

  “I just know. Trust me.” He said confidently, then smiled brillantly at me.

  We went and took our seats after that. We were talking to each other quietly, when we were interrupted by Krystal’s annoying self walking past us to sit in the same row as us. She started talking to Mica while rolling her eye’s at me.

  “Hey Mica.” She said. “How is everything? I can’t wait
to see how the movie turned out. How about you?”

  “We’re also excited to see how it turns out.” He said squeezing my hand gently as he looked over at me and smiled.

  “Right!” She said sarcastically. “So...., I see that you two are still together.” Also with sarcasim in her tone. But before she could say anything else, she was interrupted by her date that was comming to sit beside her.

  Her date looked very familiar to me. But as I was trying to think who he was, someone started to speak over a microphone. After that the movie started and I started thinking again. It hit me almost instantly. Where I knew her date from. It was one of the guy’s that was with Lavon that one day at the store leaning against our car.

  My body stiffened and I froze. Mica looked at me. I moved my eye’s toward Krystal’s date. He nodded once and then looked at his brother’s. Who were sitting on the other side of him. They nodded to, and I guessed that they knew who he was also.

  Mica whispered to me then. “Don’t worry Raven, it’s fine.” He assured me. Then raised the hand that he held to kiss it. I relaxed. I wondered if she knew what exactly her date was. I tried not to let it bother me so I could watch the movie.

  The movie was really good. I kinda cringed at the parts where Mica and Krystal had they’re love scenes, but I knew that it wasn’t real which made me feel alot better about watching it. This third movie had alot more action in it than the first two. Mica’s character in the movie had to protect krystal’s character in the movie. Everyone just about wanted her dead before she was turned. They didn’t want her to come into her powers that could defeat anyone, once she was turned. At the end of the movie kya had to be turned before someone was able to get past Charles to kill her. He would not be able to live without her if she died. I really liked this movie.

  “So, what did you think?” Mica asked me.

  “I liked it. I thought it was better than the other two, their was more action in this one.” I answered. I was about to say something else when Krystal interrupted us again.
